Re: *repost* -Dark Star master class for your ENJOYMENT) |
Aaaah, ignore Rich. He should be one of the last in line for to complain about posting (unless of course you compare his posts to that guy that used to PMāpure drivel, I tellya!)
I enjoyed your class a lot. I watched it the first time you posted about it. Because you are kind enough to post "Repost" at the beginning of your subject line, I know your thread is for those who missed it the first couple of times around. Thanks.
When can we expect a new class? And, what song would you choose?
Kindly,
Judge TOOTMO
Keep up the nice work.

Re: *repost* -Dark Star master class for your ENJOYMENT) |
There are currently 17 classes on Ustream + YT, Hornsby, Zappa, Marx Bros, Bill Evans, walking bassline clinic, playing outside the changes clinic, Liberace, Oscar Peterson, Charlie Parker, Eric Dolphy, many more. No commercials.
Next month is Charles Ives, followed by a roots of rock and roll class.
Blessings and keep swingin:)

Re: *repost* -Dark Star master class for your ENJOYMENT) |
I'm looking forward to being taught how to enjoy Charles Ives. I've tried his music a few times, never with much enjoyment. Where do I start with Ives?
Your Dark Star class is very, very good. It's a while since I saw it but I remember your highly-infectious enthusiasm. As a piece of popular music/jazz Dark Star holds many mysterious delights; without breaking the spell it weaves, your class helps us greatly to understand its meaning.
